Description

Rare SHARPS brass Saber Bayonet dated 1861 & marked Collins & Co Hartford. This is the type of bayonet that was used during the American Civil War. Brass handle has an attractive patina and the blade has a medium brown salt and pepper patina with some pitting. This would be a nice example to any Civil War collection.
