M 1861 -1870, Springfield Musket / Rifle stock, .58 cal or 50/70 caliber Converted for a Miller Conversion

Description

ORIGINAL cut at lower band Civil War Musket / Rifle original Stock modified for a Miller conversion. The lower band shoulder is at the correct location and would be an ideal location to stretch the stock under the  lower band. It was modified at the breech area for a Miller conversion, as shown in the pictures. The breech wood that was removed would have to be added back at the tang area to make a Springfield 50-70 rifle stock or a Civil War musket stock. Original wood in any condition is difficult to find.
