Woven wool enlisted hat cords. Originally meant for the Hardee/Jeff Davis hat, but was worn with just about any slouch hat either Union or Confederate.
  • Blue for Infantry
  • Yellow for Cavalry
  • Red for Artillery
  • Black for Chaplain
  • Green and Buff for Medical
  • Red & White for Indian Scout (1870s/1880s)
